We've met Ben, the creator of Vantablack, in London a couple of years ago.

He kindly brought us a sample of his latest and blackest nano tube arrays.
We were absolutely awestruck.

And since then, our goal was always to reach a blackness at least as remotely as deep as Vantablack.

Ben is also an all around gentleman of the charming british variety and pointed us towards some do's and dont's in our endevour. We promised him to send him a shirt after completion, but we were frankly a bit nervous about his verdict.
